bear with me fellow flambore junkies, i am going to give this front page thing a whirl, I know I am going to make alot of mistakes , but in time hopefully I'll learn from them?! for example as of right now i can't get an image to take you to the link, but there should be a URL for you to click.

Must've cost a fortune to make this. It is the coolest one I've seen. I have questions about the consistency, but yea well.

I'm not that big on the olympics, but I was looking forward to the snowboarding half-pipe competition. Unfortunately I missed it, but caught this video of Shaun White's two runs. He had already won the gold medal from his first run, then when he did his second run, it was purely for the fans. He pulled out a move called the Double McTwist (McTwist is a skateboard move where you do a 540 degree spin upside down, double McTwist is two of them). He's the only one in the world who can land this move, and he pulled it off beautifully, and beat his previous score which was already the highest. Sweet.

I actually remember this guy from when he was an amateur skater (skateboard). He was amazing back then.

Using the right speed on the turntable, and the right camera shutter speed, they get this awesome animation effect. I saw the Blue Man Group in Vegas a number of years ago, and they had something like this using what looked like regular statues and strobe lights. The figures danced, it was cool. You shoulda been there.

Wow. WAYYYYY too much pink. All those guitars are pink. I'm not surprised since they're Daisy Rock guitars, but come on- a pink Marshall stack? That's a borderline sin. Anyway, she can rock.

While I was in the hospital, there were like 10 channels I could get. TLC, Discovery and National Geographic were among them. I don't remember which one it was, but one of them had this series called "Life". It was amazing. Kinda reminds me of this. Sad reality is probably half of those little babies will be sucked into the filter, but then again, if it were real life, probably only 10% of them would survive. Anyway, the video is amazing. If I'm not mistaken, it's the father than actually gives birth to the babies, not the mother. Notice how he went right back to her for some more afternoon delight right after finishing giving birth?

This has to be fake. I can't see someone actually spinning like that on their head, but it's a well put-together video.

This is a really cool thing. Zoom all the way down to quantum foam or out to the universe. Just a slider dial, and it's really well designed.

Great site! It's a blog with submitted photos and sometimes recipes of some amazingly fattening foods. Normally I don't condone eating like this, but in my case, I lost 75 pounds in 10 months, and need to gain some weight. I had chili, cheese and bacon hotdogs the other night for dinner. If that don't put some meat on my bones, nothing will!

But it's cool! These are vortex rings, whatever that means.
